A new community, the GZAAT Library Society, has formed at our school and is offering new opportunities for book-loving students. The society will focus on promoting the Donald Thomas Library’s social pages, such as Instagram and TikTok. Social media will be an easier way of communication between the library and the student community. It will notify students about news such as books arriving at the library, birthdays of famous authors, or important dates from world history. There will also be fun and informative videos posted on social media. All of the students will get an opportunity to be in the society - a google form was sent out earlier that asks a few questions for those who want to join. The members plan on being active on social media by posting various reviews of books, information about genres of literature, and many other exciting things to come.
The society has its AAT mail (dwthomaslibrarysociety@aat.ge), and an Instagram page (@thomaslibrary), so in case of any questions or general suggestions about the content, do not hesitate to contact them.
