Eighth graders unforgettable field trip

ree

The eighth grade students went on their first field trip, which took place in Dmanisi. The journey itself turned out to be truly special. On the bus, students shared a little information about themselves with each other, told some stories, played games and took photos and videos. They even played games with their teachers, which made the road part very special.

Most of the students were not very happy with the weather, but it didn't stop them from having an amazing time with their new friends and teachers. During the field trip students got to know their classmates better.

In Dmanisi, a site where Zezva and Mzia were discovered attracted particular attention. Archeological work was still ongoing which made the visit more interesting for students. The students really liked the little museum, where they had the chance to see the old bone remains and watched the video that was taken during the discovery.

The field trip was a wonderful opportunity to get closer to each other, play in nature and share unforgettable emotions. The frisbee game with their chemistry teacher, Sandro Mestvirishvili, was especially fun. Laughter, the joy of playing, and the sense of togetherness lifted the mood of the whole group. Some Junior high students also shared their unforgettable memories.

Nutsa Nadiradze: What I liked most about this excursion was that everyone was mixed together and we had the opportunity to get to know each other better.

Journalist: Did this field trip help you get to know more of your new classmates?

Anika Chitaia:Yes,this field trip was a very good opportunity to get to know my classmates better and I used this chance and it really helped me make new friends.

Journalist:What part of the field trip was the most interesting for you? And what do you think about the field trip in general?

Kristine Lelashvili:I liked seeing the skeletons in real life because I genuinely think archeology is really interesting. The school trip was really nice, it would be better if the weather was nice but we still had fun. I got to know more people that are now my close friends and I definitely think we deserve more than 2 trips a year!

The field trip came to an end, but students were left with unforgettable memories. The bus journey, time spent in nature, moments with their new friends and the impression they gained at Zezva and Mzia’s museum.
