The error has been fixed The error has been rectified, and the pack was only available for about 25 minutes, but the damage has been caused. EA is yet to offer a response about the issue FIFA 23 coins, and even as the market is beginning to recover, the damage appears to be irreparable and it is yet to be determined what the publisher is able to take to remedy the situation.

Did you grab yourself an item for a steal during the FIFA 23 FUT fire sale? How do you feel about EA's next game will be? Comment on the kick-off below.

A snafu with one of FIFA 23's"Hero" packs has become quite costly after the trade-able FIFA Ultimate Team Hero merchandise was put on an online transfer market at a heavily reduced rate. It was a mess as players attempted to sell off their assets in the event that their value fell, hoping to recover loss as the market saturated.

FUT Hero items are rare and are therefore highly valuable. Each item is associated with players who have made a significant contribution to their team or is the most popular player because of one reason or the other. A Hero item is a possibility to purchase thousands of FUT coins in a single transaction on the market for virtual transfer or by buying packs, in which case there is a very slim chance of receiving one.

Thus, when EA had erroneously released a bundle which contained a tradeable Hero item for the low price of 250,000 FUT coins, the market was hit by an abundance of low-cost Heroes, causing it to fall, which wiped out the supposed value of the most valuable items. The players who had held onto rare Heroes were forced to sell them after they witnessed prices drop which threw gasoline on the fire cheap FUT 23 coins. It's understandable because rarer Hero items can fetch hundreds of dollars in real world value in the event of sale on third-party platforms.
